AMETEK MRO Names David Bentley as Divisional Vice President and Business Unit Manager for the Midwest Region

TULSA, OK Feb. 28, 2020 – AMETEK MRO is proud to announce the promotion of David Bentley to Divisional Vice President and Business Unit Manager for the AMETEK MRO Midwest Region.

“We are happy to promote David to this important profit and loss role within AMETEK MRO. David has progressed through numerous positions of increasing responsibility in his years with AMETEK. He has proven himself to be an exceptional thinker and leader. We expect him to play a key role in our continued growth and success,” comments Brian Hoffmann, Vice President and General Manager of AMETEK MRO.

“In his new position, David has responsibility for managing our Midwest Region, including all aspects of profit and loss, and for providing tactical and strategic guidance in achieving our four-prong growth strategy. Those four prongs are promoting continuous improvement, new product development, global and market expansion, and mergers and acquisitions,” adds Mr. Hoffmann.

Mr. Bentley joined AMETEK in 2014 as the AMETEK MRO Division’s Continuous Improvement Director. In 2017, he became the Director of Operations of the AMETEK MRO Midwest region. Prior to AMETEK, Mr. Bentley spent several years at NORDAM where he held a variety of increasingly responsible positions in operations, business systems leadership, customer service and contracts. Prior to that, he held leadership roles in Business Improvement at GE Aviation Systems and Smiths Aerospace.

Mr. Bentley earned a master’s degree in Lean Operations from the University of Cardiff, U.K., and his Bachelor of Science in Engineering with honors from the University of Wolverhampton. Mr. Bentley is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration at the Jack Welch Management Institute at Strayer University.
